Who we are
This policy explains what personal information Hashcore Genetics collects through hashcoregenetics.com, why, and what you can do about it. Hashcore Genetics collects as little as possible and never sells personal information.
This site is intended for adults 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through the forms below. We never ask for your legal name, home address, or phone number through any form on this site.
Contact form. Your email address, an optional name or handle, an optional company name, and your message. We use these only to reply to you. Submissions are stored in our website’s admin area and emailed to us.
Notify-me waitlist. Your email address, the strain you signed up for, the date, and whether you ticked “Also email me about new genetics,” along with the exact wording of that checkbox at the time. We use your email only to tell you about that strain, and about new genetics if you ticked the box.
Tester and partner applications. Your handle, email address, optional Discord handle, links to past grow work or your brand, and the answers you give on the application. We use these only to review your application. If you are accepted as a tester, we ask privately for a shipping address, use it only to ship your pack, and delete it afterward.
Run submissions. When you submit a run, we store your handle, email, the strain, your Run Report, up to three photos, and the time you gave the two consents (publishing credited to your handle, and your photos showing nothing that identifies your location). Photos are re-encoded on upload, which removes all embedded data such as GPS location and camera details, and are kept private until we review them. If we approve a submission, we may publish your report and photos in a Lab Notes post credited to your handle, never your legal name. We get an email that a submission arrived, without your details. Rejected submissions and their photos are deleted within 60 days. You can ask us to export or delete your submissions at any time; if one has already been published, tell us and we’ll take it down.
Spam protection. To limit automated submissions, our forms briefly keep a scrambled, one-way code derived from your IP address. We cannot turn it back into your IP address, and it expires within an hour. We do not store your IP address with any submission.
Cookies, analytics, and hosting
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not show ads.
Cookies. A small cookie remembers that you confirmed you are 21 or older, so we don’t ask again on every page. Site administrators who log in receive standard WordPress login cookies; ordinary visitors do not.
Analytics. We do not use analytics or visitor-tracking tools.
Hosting. The site is hosted by IONOS. Like most web hosts, IONOS may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operation. See the IONOS privacy policy for details.
Other websites
Our site links to Instagram and Discord. We do not embed their trackers on our pages; once you click through, their own privacy policies apply.
Comments
We do not accept public comments on this site.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as it serves the purpose you gave it for.

Your rights
You can ask us at any time to send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us from the address you used on the site, and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to run this site, such as our web host.
Security
The entire site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and stored submissions are visible only to site administrators.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
